The mighty HeroQuest has returned from its extradimensional slumber (not being sold). But what do you get? And how does it compare to the 1989 version? Well, let's look in unnecessary detail!
TL;DR: It's been de-Games Workshopped, all the art is fresh, the miniatures are a bit overdesigned in places and the plastic is bit naff, but overall it's pretty much the same game. Well, the same game as the American version, which has a bit more bite than the original EU version so that's all good. It's pricey though - it seems to have been hit with the dreaded nostalgia tax. But I think it's still the best game of this type to introduce the kids to dungeon crawling fun.
