My First Encounter with GTA3 and Its Subsequent Travesty

As the 20th anniversary of the first 3D Grand Theft Auto series, GTA3, I put together a short memoir about how it was like when I first got my hands on the game, and subsequent impacts the game has casted on me.

In 2011, one of my colleagues claimed that he could now(then) play GTA3 on his tablet. I was like, “wow, a tablet can run the game! Back then my power house desktop took ages to just load Staunton Island. And it’s been 10 years!”

And now it’s been another 10 years to that moment where my colleague claimed that he could now(then) play GTA3 on a tablet, totaling 20 years to the first release of the original GTA3 game.

What a nostalgia.
