Washington kicker does a slide tackle and gets a 15 yard penalty

During the college football game between Washington and UCLA, Washington's kicker was the last line of defense and used a slide tackle to take down the UCLA return man. He was called for tripping, which is a 15 yard penalty. The play was still smart however, as it prevented a touchdown.
