The administrators at Mbarara Regional Referral hospital say that about 30 patients have discharged themselves to go home for Christmas. They say this was against the healthcare workers' advice. Halson Kagure, the hospital public relations officer, says this self-discharge is not good for patients who will not get their medicine as prescribed by the doctors.
